       Karen McCurdy is the president of USA Multifamily Management, Inc., a subsidiary of USA Properties Fund, Inc. USA Multifamily which is based in Roseville, Calif. All of the properties in its portfolio of more than 5,000 units are financed with low income housing tax credits (LIHTCs).

Question: When it comes to compliance issues what is your biggest challenge or worry? Has that Challenge or worry changed over the past couple of years?

Answer: The biggest issue used to be pre-qualifying applicants. That is no longer a large concern due to our use of technology to help us.
